We set aside special morning times when the Candle Tea is open only to children in school or scout groups, and reservations are required for these times.

2010 Schedule for School and Scout Groups:

By Reservation Only, $1 per person

School groups: To reserve a space, please call 336-749-9463 on September 14th and 15th from 7:30 AM until 12:30 PM.

Scout groups: To reserve a space, please call 336-749-9463 on October 7th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Inclement Weather Policy

If the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools or Old Salem are closed for the day or close early due to bad weather, the Candle Tea will also close. An announcement will be made on WXII and will be on the Candle Tea voice mail (336-749-9463).
